This Privacy Policy explains how we ("we," "us," or "our") collect, use, and disclose information about you when you use our mobile application (the "App").
1. Information We Collect
We collect limited information to provide and improve our services.
1.1 Usage Data
We collect metrics related to your interaction with the App. This includes:
- Button presses (increment/decrement)
- Screen views
We use Firebase Analytics to collect this data.
1.2 Crash Reports
We use Firebase Crashlytics to collect information about app performance and crashes. This may include:
- Device type
- Operating system version
- Stack traces
1.3 Advertising Data
The App uses AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect and use data to provide personalized ads. This may include:
- Device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID)
- Usage data
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain the App
- To monitor App usage and improve user experience
- To detect, prevent, and address technical issues
- To display advertisements
3. Data Sharing
We do not share your personal data with third parties, except as described in this policy for the purpose of analytics and advertising.
- Google (Firebase & AdMob): We share data with Google as necessary to use Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics, and AdMob services. Google may use this data to personalize ads. You can learn more about how Google uses data here.
4. Data Retention
We retain information only for as long as necessary to provide the App and fulfill the purposes described in this policy.
- Data stored on your device. The content you create in the App (such as your entries, counts, and settings) is stored locally on your device, not on our servers. It remains on your device until you delete it within the App or uninstall the App.
- Analytics and crash data. Usage and crash data collected through Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics is retained for a limited period and is managed through Google's data retention controls, after which it is automatically deleted or anonymized.
- Advertising data. Advertising data processed by AdMob is retained by Google in accordance with its own retention policies.
- Information you submit to us. If you create an optional profile (for example, to submit feature requests) or contact us for support, we keep that information only as long as needed. Once you request its deletion, it is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.
5. Data Deletion
You can delete your data at any time using any of the following methods:
- Delete on-device data. Uninstalling the App permanently removes all data stored locally on your device.
- Delete an optional profile. If you created a profile within the App, you can delete it directly in the App's settings. Step-by-step instructions are on our Support page. Once you request deletion, your profile and its associated data are permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.
- Request deletion by email. You can email us at [email protected] to request deletion of any data associated with you, and we will process your request within 30 days.
- Analytics and advertising. You can stop the collection of analytics and personalized advertising data at any time through your device settings — see Your Choices below.
6. Your Choices
You can opt-out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device settings.
- Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization.
- iOS: Settings > Privacy > Apple Advertising.
